Surf & Turf can refer to many different combinations of beef and seafood. Our Surf & Turf is the combination most true to the term and served in high-end steakhouses – Filet Mignon and Lobster Tails.
Porter & York’s Natural Black Angus 8oz USDA Choice Filet Mignon steaks cut from the center of the beef tenderloin. When this section of the loin is cut into smaller steaks, the result is the well-known Filet Mignon. This cut of beef is known to be the most tender available, lean, and with a mild beef flavor.
The cold water 5/6oz lobster tails are caught wild by day boats off the Canadian east coast. They are all natural and 100% chemical free. Each one is individually cleaned, frozen in a water glaze, and shipped frozen to ensure maximum freshness.
The two Filet Mignons are good in your refrigerator for 8-9 days after delivery. The lobster tails should be kept in the freezer until ready to prepare.
