Also known as Pork Butt, Pork Shoulder is a staple of American BBQ. The generous marbling and connective tissue mean it’s best when cooked low and slow. It’s most commonly braised or smoked for hours, then shredded to produce “pulled pork”. Pork Shoulder lends itself well to dry rubs, brining, and sauces.

Bred from Duroc Boars and "White Line" Sows
All of Salmon Creek's farmers raise only Duroc boars and "white line" (Landrace, Chester White, Yorkshire cross) sows to product our pigs. While Duroc boars are known for their superior growth and meat quality, the "white line" sows tend to raise strong, healthy litters. The resulting meat has more fat, tenderness and flavor.
Completely Natural
In addition to breeding healthy lines of pigs, our farms only give them high quality feed as well as wheat and barley, much of which is grown on-site. Our pigs are never fed antibiotics or hormone-like growth promotants. We never add artificial enhancers, preservatives, chemicals or extra moisture either. With meat this nutritious and delicious, you don't need anything more.
Delivered to Your Door Fresh - Never Frozen
Freezing and thawing compromises the flavor and tenderness of meat. So, unlike the other steak delivery guys, we made it our mission to deliver all our beef fresh, so it is never frozen at any point in the process. Your order is cut fresh the day it ships, individually vacuum sealed, and meticulously packed in a double-insulated box with gel packs, keeping your meat at refrigerator temperatures throughout its journey.
